Album Review
Dyke And The Blazers were one of the great uptempo and dance/funk R&B bands; they weren't much for harmonizing or doing slow, romantic ballads, but on such songs as "Funky Broadway" or "We Got More Soul" they could strut and wail right alongside Archie Bell And The Drells. This was first-rate, driving soul and R&B.

historical funk classic
not only does this record have women dancing in matching outfits on the cover, this record contains the first charted single to contain the word funk. its on another level. it's not necessarily a funk bomb per say, but it is still a banger. it also features mr. james gadson on drums. gadson has a rather impressive resume being bill withers' drummer. as well as doing session work for artists like pharoah sanders, sinatra, james brown, and the jackson five. its not one to sleep on. go get it.
