Amazing!!!!!
This song is amazing!!! Idina Menzel voice just puts me on cloud 9! I think glee does a great job with bring modern, old, and musical songs into the show it never gets boring!!! totally buy it =)
Exquisite!
I've been a fan of Barbra Streisand from even before Funny Girl and I imagine it must be a daunting task to sing a song she's done...she tends to make them completely hers and impossible to top...but Idina Menzel has made me forget that Streisand ever did this song. Glee has an amazing ability to transform a song...making it...no matter how old or well known the original rendition may be...utterly and miraculously new. I applaud them for dedicating episodes to women who have transformed the musical landscape...like Madonna and Lady GaGa...I hope the trend continues and if I were to make a suggestion in that vein it would be someone who is the very definition of such a woman...Joni Mitchell.
