Documentary value plus a little good fun

One hundred and two in Oregon sunshine. Opening for the Dead on one of their sweeter and sweatier afternoons (never officially released but considered to be one of the best shows), The New Riders got down with some groovy hippie funk. John Dawson and David Nelson still had some serious chemistry back in these days.

I've got a couple new riders shows from the early 70's. this is by far the best i've got. If you like this show but even if you don't do a search for rob cork under podcast as of 10-30-08 he's got the whole dead show that follows the riders set for 08-27-72 for download get this and that go go do it!!!!!

For most of the early '70s, the New Riders of the Purple Sage™ (yes, the name is trademark-protected) were the successful offshoots of the Grateful Dead.
