Customer Reviews

An amazing merge between visual and audio experiences

I can't believe there isn't a review already... The Chemical Brothers have done it again. They have taken their mastery of aural and visual media and made it possible to enjoy the experience anywhere at any time. Tom and Ed are constantly on the forefront of the music industry and have been so since their inception.

The visual creations are awe inspiring to say the least. The production teams did a fantastic job creating everything from a psychedelic 60's type world in "Dissolve" to the beautiful underwater slow-motion images in "Wonders of the Deep". The entire album and visual media is depicting a trip that the main character, Caroline, takes into the deep. All of their visual work is also original and their efforts to create something unique shine through.

The Chemical Brothers have evolved their sound greatly over the years, so if you're looking for a "Block Rockin' Beats" or "Believe" style of sound then stick to earlier albums such as Dig Your Own Hole, Surrender, or Push the Button. I would still recommend this album to anyone looking to enjoy a visual / audio experience that is setting the standard for modern music and of course any long time Chems Fans. Even my dad that is 69 years old gets a kick out of this album. Truly The Chemical Brothers don't make music based on appealing to a specific audience. They can be enjoyed by anyone.

Awesome album!

Great Album!

Great album! Though I wish the track Don't Think shouldn't be album only because I had to buy the album just for that song, but maybe I'll like the other tracks as well. We'll see.
