Album Review

A bright, wry, and earthy collection of her early songs. A great introduction.

The Lady's a Hoot!

This is one of the funniest and most irreverent pieces of folk music to come along in a long while. I heartly recommend it!

More than Funny

Christine Lavin writes some extremely funny songs. But it is the serious songs that shine on this album. Damaged Goods hit home at a time in my life. The Dakota is the greatest/saddest tribute to John Lennon that exists. Buy it!

Amazing

This was my first Christine Lavin album and still one of my favorites. She's one of the quirkiest, most talented folk singers you'll ever come across. She's equally amazing whether she's singing a funny song like "Regretting What I Said..." or a beautifully serious song like "The Dakota." Her voice is a lovely as the melodies she creates.
