Customer Reviews
This is the sound
Scarlet and When Pilots Eject are the definite highlights of this release for me. Deep and melancholy. The Boy Who Lost His Smile is the first I've heard from Nu:tone is a short minute and also absolutely good. Never Ending Story isn't the best I've heard from Logistics, but isn't bad.
Scarlet Yesss
Nice group of smooth hitting tracks. Especially loved scarlet’s late night rhythm and horns, a good slice of drum and bass.
Leaders of the NuSkool Liquid Funk sound...
Last year's Sound of Cambridge EP brought the DnB clubs dancing to NuTone's "Mille's Theme". This time around Nu:Tone is back with his "The Boy Who Lost His Smile". Nu:Tone has been the up and coming producer since 2003, his ever popular, "Spread Love" remix brought him to Hospital Records, where he is now making a bigger name for himself. This album is definitely for those who love that liquid funk sound. Definitely worth a listen to. Yet another example of the ever changing scenery in Drum and Bass.
