nawlins funk
These guys really blew it up jazzfest 07, with Ivan Neville sitting in from dumpsta funk. It was a really great show to make it to. Stanton Moore is a great New Orleans drummer, one of the finest. The new Galactic cd From the corner to the block gets off. Check both these cd's out. You won't be let down. Thats whats up.
Galactic is so funky
Galactic is the funkiest band touring these days.
They play lots of Zeppelin covers, last time I saw them they played Moby Dick, in this show they play a roaring version of immigrant song. Go Go and FEMA are staples of their live show. Can't wait to see them again. travel if you have to, to get the galactic experience. I'll be driving all the way from Miami, FL to arkansas for the Wakarusa festival to bask in galactic's funky grooves!
Galactic live is the way to hear them!
These guys go off live. THis is the album that really shows it! This album was recorded in front of the home town crowd. They can really pull them in at Jazzfest so if you go get to the Galactic stage early! Just another top notch performance from these guys...
