If Jimi was Funk

This is an amazing album filled with sounds that can be heard in a little band named the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Amazing guitar work alone. California Dreaming is classic Hazel style. If you want to hear and underrated master listen to this entire album and be blown away.

Underrated Indeed!

First of all, this album was as good (if not better! )than expected.I`m not sure if E.H. is as underrated as his is unknown. What a shame. This album should be in every guitar player`s cd collection. That being said, the mix was awful.Sometimes the guitar solos were almost inaudible, sometimes the keyboards were too loud, sometimes the drums faded out,.. ect. If anyone else downloaded this album please comment so I can know if I`m not alone about the mix.

Unsung!

Eddie Hazel is a unsung guitar hero. His riff are the blood to the heart of so many of the funk laden track of Paliment/Funkadelic. Take away George Clinton antics & Bootsy's bass and the songs still move you with Eddie's riveting riffs. Long over due iTunes, but thanks.
