They sure don't build them like they use to!
Gamma was pure greatness and this album proves it. Most bands take an album or two before they find their legs. This is Gamma's first album and it sounds like they had been together for ten years and performing for twelve. The fact that this album still sounds fresh and is as competitive as anything out there is testimony to this bands excellence. Ronnie Montrose is an awesome guitar player and Davey Pattison is equally as awesome on vocals. Buy this download. You will not be disappointed.
Please "RE-MASTER" Gamma 1!
VERY GOOD A.O.R. rock......I remembered hearing "i'm alive" off of the radio a little bit way back when, and bought the cassette after I found out it was Ronnie Montrose, but this digital album needs a sonic tune up! My dusty cassette copy of Gamma 1 sounds better than this digital download! I am very glad that itunes has these titles, but the sound quality should be fixed...post haste...chop chop...please

I saw Gamma in Indianapolis opening up for Styx, and after the concert, all anyone could talk about was how good the opening band was, bought all 3 Gamma albums on vinyl (which I still have), well worth the purchase.
