This cd does rock...
But don't be an idiot like this other guy and skip Slaughter of the Soul. Everyone else in the world thinks it's the best album ever made by them or anyone, so don't miss out.
Classic ATG
I will admit, I am not a huge fan of the older At The Gates stuff, but this EP is pretty good. I would recommend it for anyone, die hard fans, or someone just getting into the band. BUT for someone who hasn't heard this band before, I would say get Slaughter Of The Soul first, because that album is what helped shape the whole Melo-death/metalcore scene over in America, and I think EVERY song on there is amazing.

So everyone has been reviewing this album and referencing slaughter. Well, i like slaughter of the soul, but i also like this ep. My advice is if you like the sound of this EP, save your money and go to a record store and get "The red in the sky is ours" by At the Gates. Its pretty much the same sound and structure but you get more songs and i personally feel that its has better songs.
