If you like Jack Johnson, you'll love Gary Jules
I've been a Gary Jules fan for the last 4 years, and I 've seen him perform at the Hotel Cafe in Hollywood about 10 times. His live performances are absolutely amazing. I'm so happy this album is finally available. If you've never heard him, take a listen to "Little Greenie" and "Wichita." You'll be glad you did.
Gary Jules is amazing!
I just saw Gary Jules as he opened for Five for Fighting and I am now in love with his music. I bought two of his CD's after the concert as he sold them from his backpack. He even signed everyone's CD's. I don't know why he isn't insanely famous/popular but I don't doubt that he will be soon. He is both an amazing songwriter and singer. Buy anything of his you can get your hands on. You won't be sorry!!!!
much needed exposure
I've always loved his version of Mad World, but when I watched Grey's Anatomy last night, I recognized his voice toward the end of the show. They used Falling Awake for a very emotional scene and I was downloading it before the tears had even finished falling down my face. (GA does that to me). WOW. What an amazing voice this guy has.
