Yet another great album by or nothing, I ended up finding them by mistake one day and loved them. Each album contains a very new way with similarities to their old stuff, I encourage everyone to listen to all of their songs. You can follow them on myspace and twitter as well if you like them. If you want a better feel than the 30 second clips here, go to their myspace page to view some full songs.
"An Epic of Epic Epicness"

With much wait and anticipation, on September 3rd, the world was brought the gift of Gear, Or Nothing's third and without a doubt best studio album to date. Commencing with the hypnotic and futuristic draw of "Evening All", it's almost impossible to not get immediately pulled into the band's world of intelligence and expertise. "Blame Game" is extremely edgy and "Nineteen Candles", unlike most songs that are unfortunately repeated over and over again on the radio, actually makes you think about what you've done with your life. Not to mention, the beatboxing is done as flawlessly as Jonathan Davis' in "Freak on a Leash".
The lyrics of "Children at War" are inspiring ("Too many times have we been pushed around as one. I say it's time to take that stand.") and completely relatable. Hearing "Serendiptous" is practically a guarantee that your head will be nodding, and in some unexplainable way puts life into complete focus. "Dear You"'s aggresiveness has the possibility of and probably will get stuck in your head for days on end (no exaggeration). "Microcosmic"'s chorus is so filling for lack of a better word considering there isn't really a way to describe its excellence. Its ending fades away into "Namaste", an upbeat song that you can't help but sing along with. Even if it is one of the shortest, it is definitely a stand out. All of these 9 songs lead up to the grand finale: "The Pride", the first single from the record. Having everything from a 27 second scream and a beautiful piano playing in the outro, it is a perfect way to end Gear. There is no surprise here that Or Nothing, with their fearless guitar, bass, drums, piano, and vocals have made, yet again, another mind-blowing album.
