Feel Good Music
This EP is a welcome addition to the Mraz catalog after the uneven Mr. A-Z. "Galaxy" is a must have for any Mraz fan as this is it's first commercial release. "Keep On Hopin" is a joyful, exuberant, love song featuring the booming voice of Raul Midon along with his signuature guitar picking. "Mr. Curiosity" seems to be more at home on this EP than it was on Mr. A-Z with it's soft and delicate features that seem so perfectly sung by Mraz. "On Love, In Sadness" is a Mraz fan favorite and this version is a great live version. This version of "Wordplay" is more enjoyable than the studio album version. "Geek In the Pink" is forgettable and just like the cut on Mr. A-Z, seems corny and out of place. Save your 99 cents on this one, but the rest of this EP is well worth your time wether your a curious newbie or a veteran Mraz fan.
Jason live is heavenly....
Anyone that owns "Waiting for my Rocket to Come" and "Tonight, Not Again" knows that Jason sounds 10 times better live. This EP emphasizes his amazing vocals that he can put out LIVE, not playing/singing over a recorded track. There is SOOOO much energy and emotion on this EP, it's unlike anything I have heard on any other artist's live albums. I just hope he releases another full live album once his tour is over. Mad props to Jason Mraz for releasing yet another AMAZING set of live tracks
Worth it.
The selection of tracks could have been better, but it's well worth the money. "Galaxy" is absolutely unreal. The sound quality is great, and Jason's voice is off the hook. Thanks iTunes/Mraz and Co. Download this EP!
