Must have
im a big fan of hybrid and when i saw general midi was with the same record company i thought i would give midi a chance and i was shocked that i had gone this long without every realizing what great music midi ect had to offer. Every track is a must have on this alblum
as ill as it gets.
This is the perfect break album. I bought this in hopes of having a 'bust your head open' break record that would give me hope that the new school break beat still had balls, and that is just what happened. From the intro to the last cut, this album personifies the scale to which breaks can elevate your soul. General Midi takes the thunder and darkness from his crates and creates a symphony of jaw clinching funk. No big drawn out build-ups, no lyrically nauseating harmonies, nope, just flinch inducing beats and hair raising bass lines. Much appreciated. By the way, the "Breathe" remix, takes the cake.
