I decided in 2008 that I wanted to write and record an album of original worship music. I wanted it to be from God through me. I wanted to bring something to the table that didn't just go with the flow of popular music, but was unique and true to who I am. This was difficult at first, and still remains a struggle...finding who you are in God and creating something from the heart he has given you. Not settling for what the world expects, but reaching beyond that into the unknown. The place where God's heart is.
"Generation" has a little bit for everyone. There are anthems, declarations, reflections, and the necessary ballad. I hope this record will not only touch lives for years to come, but will spark a revival in this generation...a generation after His heart! This is just the beginning...
Great music!
I too attended encounter over the summer and it was a great expirence I can not wait till next year. Reuben leading worship was just amazing I just wanted to stay and keep worshiping God. Reuben also has came to our real love banquet I just got home from and once again he did a fantastic job with such great music to worship to. If you are looking for a great CD to use to worship God I highly suggest this one!

Inspiration (or, motivation)
I attended encounter many times last summer Reuben, and I felt God all over your music. I love the record and what you're striving for, and music, yours especially, has been inspiring to me. It makes me feel that we are only alive once we have died, we stand tallest when we are on our knees, that we obtain power in our weakest times. Let God be the center hub cap of your life, and not just a piece of the pie chart. It's made me realize that when Satan reminds me of my past, I should remind him of his future. I always keep this in mind after listening to Christian music, yours specifically. I cannot go back today and start over for a new beginning, but I can change who and what I am today for a new ending. God Bless Reuben.
