GREAT SOUND!
A rare combination, Katie Warren is a talented songwriter, a versatile vocalist and skilled performer with a fresh, original sound. The softer songs and the most controlled vocals on this album are the most lovely and powerful. Would like to hear more songs from this artist like Gentle Whisper, Dry Well, Love You Anyway, Lullaby, Love Will Come Around, Loss of Innocence, Overcome, and Overwhelmed. Katie’s rendition of There Is a Fountain is memorable. The Difference is fun.

I found this artist by mistake when searching for someone else but I am glad I did! There is a great mix of fast paced songs and slower comforting songs as well. I would highly recommend this artist. Great Job! Keep up the good work!
Vocal Talent + Great Message + Real Musicianship = A Great CD!
In a world where mediocrity and lack of talent seems the standard for the Billboard Charts and even the Christian Music Charts, it's always refreshing to find an artist who is truly creating music worth listening to. Katie Warren's music stands out amidst the white noise first because of her magnificent voice. Katie embues her softer passages with the kind of delicate passion that can truly put you at ease. And she's equally at home with soaring passages and powerful instrumentation. Katie's voice would be reason enough to put this album on your Must-Have list, but her vocal ability is matched by her ability to craft truly inspiring and well written music. Each song is its own experience, and each experience is unforgettable. "Love Will Come Around," "Gentle Whisper," and "Dry Well" are only few highlights. It's hard to understand why artists like Katie Warren out of the public eye while singers and bands with half her talent make millions. Regardless, "Gentle Whispers" remains a truly uplifting and emotionally profound musical experience.
Did I mention I listen almost exclusively to metal? "Gentle Whispers" is the kind of album that transcends its genre. At its simplest, the album is nothing short of great music - and regardless of your taste in tunes, that should be pretty hard to pass up these days.
