What great rock used to be

This is pure rock n' roll. Hard guitar riffs, a nice grooving base line, slamming drums, and emphatic, emotional vocals with an edgy, garage band feel is what this band is all about. The entire CD is full of energy. There is a certain raw quality to the music and it is obvious that no producer has watered down the vibe to make it poppy and radio friendly. There is no whine and complain in the lyrics like many modern rock bands. Jet is bringing back the AC/DC era of rock to a whole new generation. I'm rockin' it on my ipod when I need a pick me up, or when I am in the mood to party.

It's Kinda Funny...

...that iTunes USED to have this album (I purchased it then), but for some reason, a few months after it was up, it was taken down. This is an incredible album by an incredible band. Every single song is a jewel. From the fast-paced rocking mood of Are You Gonna Be My Girl to the soft slow songs like Come Around Again, this album is amazing. Highlight Tracks: #8 - Get Me Outta Here - This song just makes ya wanna jump up and start dancing, ya know? Great song, and the various instruments blend great. #12 - Lazy Gun - The intro to this song just gets me hooked. It's just awesome. The rest of the song follows through and makes up an extraordinary song. #13 - Timothy - Timothy. On my list for the Top 5 songs of all time. The emotion in this song just blows me away. From beginning to end, this song makes me want to cry. It's almost as if you can feel Cameron Muncey's sadness (I know the song isn't sung by him, but it is about his brother). Timothy, simply put, blows me away. So no matter what you hear, I highly recommend buying this album. I mean, it's only $10 bucks, why not?

Awsome album

These guys are perfect...they are trying their own thing, it fits in with 2000's music, but it also fit in with 80's hard rock. They have tons of great songs on this album, that went on to become singles. This is one of the best debut albums ever! BUY ALBUM!!!!
