Death does wear blue!!

I first heard about The Megas from gaming music website OverClocked ReMix, and I wasn't disappointed with the awesome single that they released there, "The Annihilation of Monsteropolis." Being an avid Mega Man fan (my first game was Mega Man 3, when I was but nine years old), I immediately decided I had to have the album. I bought it without previewing any of the tracks, and this is marks one of the few times where I didn't need to. Each track is faithful to the music that it's based on, starting with the iconic Skull Castle theme and finishing with the epic Ending theme. Even my friends who have no clue who Mega Man is, enjoy listening to this album -- each song has a distinctly different personality, and just goes to show you the passion and care that the artists put into creating this. iTunes, I'm glad you got this album up for download! And to The Megas -- keep on rockin', guys! I hope to see another album (perhaps one based on my favorite, Mega Man 3) very, very soon! --A loyal Megas fan!

Very good...

This album I actually picked up at Video Games Live, where there was ABSOLUTELY NO MEGAMAN MUSIC! That got me pretty angry, but this CD was pretty much all I needed on Megaman's terms. Almost all of the songs are great, and it brings back memories of Megaman 2. Get this full album if you like Megaman.

'THE' Megaman Cover Band

If you're a gamer- which you no doubt are if you're reading this- then at some point in your life you've played Megaman 2. (If you have not, please get an emulator.) This album covers all of the game's major tracks, and The Megas add their own flair to them by putting the beeps of the midis from 20 years ago, into full on rock songs. All of the previously strictly instrumental tracks are given a lyrical context, which is at most times more comical than poetry, but catchy nonetheless. I saw them in concert this past summer, and have not stopped listening to their album since. This is THE Megaman cover band, and quite possibly the best video game cover band there is.
