Gotta Get LARGE!
Mr. Roy Davis is on point as usual!! I had the pleasure of seeing him spin in the UK. He always lays the the soulful house music down right. The highlights on this outing have to be "Change" remixed with extra thump by Jask, who always do an excellent job and "Set Me Free"(Festival Dub). Miami WMC music if you know what I mean. Just wish there a few more tracks. Large is a lable that all deep house DJ's respect.
Great sound
Definitely worth getting... clean deep tracks that don't fall into the monotony of repetitive bass and dance lines. Haven't had the pleasure of seeing him live.. but I can imagine he brings the house alive and keeps it going all night.
Roy Davis (King of chicago)
This is the dopest cd I have heard in years. Roy Davis is the truth. He has a style of his own that can't be dublicated. What I really love about this mix is how he builds it up and takes you on a ride. To many mixes today don't build up. Every record sounds the same and their is no energy. Roy hails from the oldschool and proves it with his diversity and flawless mixing skills. Roy truly is chicago forever !!!
