Customer Reviews
A good, solid score.
While this is not my favorite score from Jan, I did enjoy tracks 2, 8, 13, 15, 16, 17, and 18. I probably shouldn't be writing this review until I've had time to listen to it further, because music tends to grow on me over time. A few of these tracks remind me of a recent discovery of mine, Josh Kramer, whose music I find both contemplative and evocative. I highly recommend his "Beginnings" and "Only Memories" albums as well as Nico Muhly's "The Reader". I would also recommend looking into some of Philip Sheppard's work if you like this particular album.
