Street Runnaz Click-Get Low
Street Runnaz Click are a trio of rappers named J-Riva, Young Free & Nice. Residing from the A-Town, they are part of the genre of rap, known as snap music. Since the snap rap is starting to die off, this track comes off as a less catchy attempt at Dem Franchize Boyz success. Lyrically it is weak and the typical braggacio of southern rappers. Since these guys are young, one member brags about his popularity on myspace, "hataz ain't feelin him, no hands aye aye, check ya myspace, bet I'm on the top 8" and what does it mean to "make it rain a millenium"? You see that line about "no hands aye aye" was used to fill the gap in the beats, because they can't stay on beat and come up with lyrics fitting the beats. The production I admit is banging, with synth lines and banging bass, but that's about it for the track. The hook isn't that good and particularly annoying due to the chicks voice in the background. I understand its dance music, but that doesn't mean that it can't have lyrics and sense, as well as a catchy hook instead of "AYE AYE AYE". If you like snap music, check it out, for others move on and listen to some real rap.
Not Bad in my opinion
I don't see why this song is unpopular. Hearing the first 30 seconds of it was good enough for me. Nice beat and rhythm. It seems like it'll be successful in my opinion.
