Amazing

This album is amazing and a true work of art. I have been a fan of Mrs Terrie B Murphy's music since i discovered her when i was 14. She is true inspiration and a TRUE artist. The band My Ruin constantly goes above and beyond. Her voice and lyrics are like venom but beauty and feeling that you can feel in your soul. Her husband and lead gutairist, Mick Murphy will also blow you away. In this specific album, your ears will be amazed. The band goes hard, and you can relate to the words, the instumentals. From way back, until now, you can really tell how hard they have worked, and how heartfelt this album is. Eyes Black is my favorite so far of this album... I reccomend this album to all. No matter what genre of music your into. You will find some part of you in this record, this art. I love you.... XOXO

This is a Beastly Album!

My Ruin is one of the most underrated metal bands out there today! This album was so totally worth the wait!!
Tairrie proves she hasn't lost any of her throat or 'sharp tongue' with this new release! With the band now down to just the husband and wife team- I do believe that this is truly they're best effort to date...
Mick,who played all the instruments on this record, along with co-producing it with Josh Lynch, proves there is literally nothing he cannot do! He certainly brings the heavy riffs to Tairrie's well placed vocals, spoken words, and screams!
I love all the tracks...nothing is amiss! And for me, as a fellow Henry fan, I absolutely love the Rollins Band cover,
"Turned Out"! They shortened it, and metal-ed it up a bit, but Mrs. Murphy snarls her way through it like a champ! Letting out ferocious screams one after the other...Hank would be proud!
Other stand out tracks include: Diggin For Ghosts, Excommunicated,& Suicide Tuesday...(I do really like all the tracks though!)

Buy the whole album, it is amazing! Be prepared though! It will rip your face off!

Honest rock n roll album

I have been a fan of this band from its inception and I know that they worked real hard on putting this album out and the proof is apparent here for all to hear. Tarrie's lyrics pull no punches and are thought provoking at times. Her vocals range from a siren soothing you to a hellish finale. Mick Murphy showcases why he's one of the greats with his firey riffs filled with southern attitude. Preview the album on iTunes and I am sure you'll want to keep on rockin.

My Ruin is essentially a solo project of Tairrie B. (formerly of Tura Satana). The group?s first recording was the single of their cover of ?Tainted Love?. That disc also included the original songs ?Blasphemous Girl? and ?Scars? and was released in 1999. The CD was followed shortly by the first full album, Speak and Destroy. Although that album surfaced in the UK in 1999, it wouldn?t see release in the US until 2000. The follow up ?A Prayer Under Pressure?Of Violent Anguish? saw its English release...
