Oh the emotion
Not emo (created by a seasoned musician), but ranges from depressing (The World Is Gray) to passive aggression (Black Parade) to a nostalgic love song (Forever Now.) I love how Johannsson can recall such strong feelings with his music. The words only serve as beautiful teal lace on a head full of rich black hair. I heard one of their songs through Eberg on Facebook, and instantly wanted to discover more. This band is great. You won't regret a single penny.

Bang Gang is the nom de band of the idiosyncratic Icelandic producer, songwriter, and vocalist Barði Jóhannsson, who started recording under the name in the late '90s. Bang Gang's sound proved to be as enigmatic as its helmsman, fusing together Montt Mardié-esque falsetto-driven indie pop and atmospheric, Portishead-like electronica. Jóhannsson is often joined by vocalists Esther Talia Casey, M83's Anthony Gonzalez, and Keren Ann on his Bang Gang recordings; Keren Ann and Jóhannsson also work together...
