another AMAZING release

I became a fan of girugamesh after discovering Owari to Mirai and continue to be absolutely floored by this band's work. I'm not even a fan of heavy rock music in general, but there's something about this band's versatility and ingenuity that makes me love even their edgiest songs. You know the way you get chills while hearing music thats really dynamic and moving, right? This is the stuff of girugamesh. Their songs vary from harsh and scream-ridden (Deceived Mad Pain, Crazy-Flag, Stupid) to catchy, moving, and melodic (Robust Conviction, Real my place, Domino) and even haunting and softer (Fukai no Yami, Kowareteiku Sekai). So far on this album I'm particulalry fond of Vermillion, Shining, Shiro I Ashiato, and Domino, but I was INSTANTLY blown away by Kowareteiku Sekai. The song has amazing feeling and the PV (promotional video) is SPECTACULAR (it's been posted on youtube). I honestly can't get enough of this band, and THIS album is pushing me further into the realm of obsession. Satoshi (vocals), ShuU (bass), Nii (guitar), and Ryo (drums) are talented musicians and creative minds. Their onstage presence is dark and demonic, but in interviews, offstage commentary, and blogs they're very down-to-earth and cheerful. It's this contrast, again a testament to their musical versatility, that ranks them as my favorite band. Even though I only know the meanings of snatches of their lyrics, girugamesh's feelings come through the language barrier. I highly recommend this album, as well as 13's Reborn and Reason of crying! For JRock fans especially, this is a MUST!

The New Album

since a few people would know I want to say to iTunes to add the Third Album (yes third cuz Reason Of Crying is a mini-album), named "Music" cuz listening Break Down on Youtube made me very desperate for it, so please iTunes add the third Girugämesh Album (people agree with me to help prove a point)

First review, yay!

Amazing album, amazing band. What else could you expect from these guys? [And yes, "Vermillion" is just as good as you thought it would be from the preview. :D] --// Ginger.

Established in 2003, the Japanese metal act Girugämesh rose to prominence in just a few years, thanks to their combination of visual kei looks and the Linkin Park/Machine Head heavy but melodic sound.
