When I bought this back in '97, I had only heard of 1 or 2 of the bands, but I'm so glad I snatched it up back then. I discovered a few great bands, and the album was worth a lot of plays. I still put it in once in a while, just because it's so good. Few discs can go from the Caribbean jazz of "Latin Goes Ska" to the punk of Choking Victim to the smoothness of Dave Hillyard in the space of 6 tracks.
This is a great mix. Even if you only like a few of the songs, the thing only costs $5.99. How can you miss?
