Give It To You-Eve
After the party banger, "Tambourine", Eve is back with her second single off of her upcoming album, Here I Am. Produced by Swizz Beatz, "Give It To You" has very much a latin flavor to it with the smooth latin like guitars. Sean Paul adds his usual dancehall feel to the hook as Eve flows smoothly on the track. Its more mellow and laid back than the first single and has a nice smooth uptempo vibe. Here I Am includes appearances from T.I., Robin Thicke, Elan Atias, Timbaland, Sizzla, Mary J. Blige, and Ne-Yo. Production has Swizzy, Polow Da Don, Pharrell, Cool & Dre, Timbo, Kanye, Just Blaze and Dr. Dre. Here I Am is scheduled to drop September 18th.
This Song Is HOT!!!!
Eve's latest collaboration with Sean Paul is HOT!!! What keeps this song from being perfect is the fact that the chorus is too repetitive and it can border on annoying, but other than that, what saves this song is Sean and Eve's amazing flow together. A very nice collaboration that is not too over-the-top and not mediocre.
Here I Am
This is the second single off of Eve's upcoming album Here I Am, which comes out August 13th. Much like the first single Tamborine, it is slightly provocative. It is however, much better than Tamborine. It features Sean Paul and has a very nice reggae feel to it. Eve and Sean Paul have wonderful chemistry and combine for an excellent. Eve has always been my favorite female rapper, and I am looking forward to Here I Am.
