Bloody brilliant.
Why aren't there more bands out there that are willing to go beyond the genre norm?! This album is amazing. Brilliant musicianship, these guys know how to build dynamically to make beautiful soundscapes. Lyrics are brutal and real. Such a good album!
Beautful, Real & Raw
I haven't felt God's presence in this genre as hardcore as I have with this album. Hands has brought the Spirit of God to the front of the stage and let Him take over our hearts. Glory to God on this release.
A Rainbow of Emotions
Hands previous cd (Creator) was a breath of fresh air to the facedown roster, but the songwriting was still armature. I enjoyed their creativity though. Give Me Rest shows their growth and explodes with creativity and quality. There are so many emotions that they bravely portray. On a personal note, my spirit is right where this cd is. Its like he's singing my heart out. Big fan of this very diverse band. Their bold and tender approach to this album is balanced incredibly.
