Customer Reviews

not so good, friends

Im very confused as to how one can make such tracks as "through the trees" and especially "falling out of the sky" and yet come out with an album like this. First, it's too metallic sounding, there is too much layering of the same sort of sound...and it borders on hurting my ears since there is no balance between deep bass and high freq's ... so where's the bass in many of these noise-washes? Second, it seems like the artist(s) fell asleep at the wheel, falling in love with some of the more annoying sound layers. I'm a fan of ambient, soundscapes, and even blips and beeps but this has very little to offer. The layering is simplistic and, quite frankly, boring. What is the purpose of the album? What is the artist trying to achieve. These objectives are not very clear at all. Where there was interesting progression in "falling out of the sky" (though lazy intro) and even a wonderful height of blending joyful synthetic sounds and an interesting beginning to through the trees, here there is the same idea stretched over 3-8 mins. I gave this a very good listen and its terrible no matter how you look at it.
