79:21 Fits On A Single CD • 7 Of The 10 Tracks Are NEW • Great Value Price Too
Good to know 7 of the 10 tracks are new mixes. If you've been keeping score, the third of four tracks from the Gornal Remix album appears on this album following the first track on the 2009 album and the second track on the Mixed 4 album. So you only need to buy ONE track - the 4th of 4 for 99¢ from the Gornal Remix album itself to assemble the complete set of that maxi-single. Great low price. Only tracks 5 & 6 are directly lifted from previous GU albums besides the Gornal track which if you haven't bought that maxi-single but have bought all the previous GU albums adds to the set for a fraction of 99¢. Home is longer than what Darren put on his GU36 Bogota album. Tim Davison has given new life to the Roadhouse classic reply We Are All Together. Walkies first appeared on Mixed 4 but this is an entirely different interpretation by Analog People In A Digital World and another 1:10 longer too. Tracks 5 & 6 are direct lifts from Nic & Jim's recent GU releases. Both solid tracks reprise in the middle. Then it's on to 2 more new tracks by Trafik, Richard Dinsdale, an old 2007 Eelke Kleijn track and finishes with a completely new track from Stan Kolev via B3at Factory and Bubu. All of it makes for a solid 79:21 minutes that just squeaks onto a single CD when ripped to that backup medium. Another outstanding job from the gang in New Castle. And thanks for making it so affordable guys and gals. The price makes it still another bargain from the Dance Trance leaders of the world. Can never get enough of what they produce. Next up: GU 037 Bangkok by James Lavelle of UNKLE fame in 2 weeks on July 27.
