Father Wylde can do no wrong
as i write this i think how long its been since i was introduced to zakk..seems like it was '88 or '89..anyway ozzy released the "no rest" album,i buy it,as far as i knew jake e lee was still in the band..60 seconds in the first listen it was clear mr. lee was long gone..i had never heard of zakk,didnt know a thing about him..by the intro to "breaking all the rules" i knew this guy was different..a heavy,crunchy kind of sound..i was hooked..then enter "no more tears" a couple years later and he's been my favorite guitarist ever since.. i have all his work from the ozzman,pride & glory and BLS..a true talent,gifted songwriter and amazing musician..this kind of guy doesnt just show up on the music scene every year or two..each generation gets one,if there lucky..i cant think of anyone out there right now that could fill his shoes..sure theres a handful of guitarists who are on his level,but how many write there own music and lyrics? if you would have told me 20 years ago zakk will release a Christmas album,i wouldnt have believed it..20 + yrs and zakk is still on top in the guitar world:doesnt suprise me at all.....S.D.M.F. .....Happy Hoildays to all
