The Best Jett
I'm a huge Joan Jett fan, own almost all her albums (including the Runaways), and this is the best Joan Jett album. Why? It is the most consistently good and hard-rocking of all her albums and doesn't rely on covers too heavily for good music. Cherry Bomb is the Runaways classic and sounds great here. But really, it is others here that push this album to greatness: Long Time, Talkin' Bout My Baby, I Need Someone, New Orleans, Someday. "Someday" may be the best break-up song of all time. One note: The original album ended at "I got no Answers", so the rest is "Remastered" filler. Still, that doesn't take away from the greatness of the orginial.
FINALLY
Any self-respecting Jett Head has been waiting for this career highlight to hit iTunes..thanks...just look at her on that cover... I am 18 all over again!
Been Lookin' for This for YEARS
This was my absolute favorite album in high school. I had it on cassette tape and wore the thing out from playing it over and over again. Happy to see I can download the music now.
