Second verse, as good as the first...if not better.
Mac, as a (hopefully) unbiased reviewer, I agree. I am a huge fan of the first Glory Revealed album, and still count it one of the very few albums I can listen to all the way through without skipping a song. I bought Glory Revealed II today, and listened to it straight through. It still keeps the acoustic feel, which I liked about the first album. The group of artists collaborating has morphed somewhat, and I'm thankful. I loved the artist grouping on the previous album, but the change helps keep it fresh. It's nice to see artists coming together around something that they truly believe, that being namely the value of community in worship and the glory of God above all things. This album FEELS like people coming together to worship that which they hold dear, melding their strengths together and gracefully and effectively letting the group collaboration be the strength of the album. I won't go into a song by song breakdown, as I'm still breaking it down myself. I will simply say that I immediately grabbed the album when I saw it on the shelf, and thus far I have been far from disappointed. I won't say that it's better than the first. It may be, but I'm simply going to enjoy them together and revel in the body of Christ acting as such in worship.
When Scripture and surrender meet.
"Glory Revealed" has done it again. If you want to know what happens when artists decide to use the gifts given them by God through His Spirit to Christ's glory...then listen to this CD. It is amazing how we have forgotten that Scripture alone can speak to us. There is no need for our fancy lyrics...let us hear the Word of God. That is what these artists have done. God's gifts. God's Word. Their talents. His Glory....and we are blessed and invited before the throne of God. Thanks to all the artists!

I loved the first Glory Revealed but I do believe this tops it. There is just a peace that comes from listening. Love it!
