True Voices of Godly Men
I know these individuals personally. I can honestly say they are men of God and sincere in their work. That said, the music produced by these gentlemen combines contemporary sounds with the ancient love of the Most High. The album displays its versatility in its ability to satisfy musical tastes of young and old . There is something for everyone. Traditional listeners can get a modern rendition of "Something Got A Hold of Me" and young listeners have "Temptation" as a message to stay on the path of righteousness. Keep an eye out for GI. A great album all around!
Self Entitled Album....Speaks For Itself!
This album is hot. G.I. made their debut on 106&Park Gospel for the very short season it aired on Bet. G.I. is most likely for those who like comtempary gospel era. They are very versatile with the music. Thank You is an accapella hit detailing each member's voice..they each are sure to hit every run...Something Got a Hold of Me and Reach Out and Touch are both remakes are sure to take back the original roots of Gospel music...In All I Do and Everything are my favorites..In All I Do is a slow track while Everything is an upbeat catchy song that you will be sure to be singing along. Get up is a contempary hit..Temptation is a song that speaks for itself literally....each members sings.with riff the high points of being tempted...and how they fleed from it.... the bottom line is that this cd is a must have for your gospel collection...you cant go wrong with G.I.!!!
This Record is pretty Hot!!!
I heard the demo the guys did some time ago. All I can say is that this record sounds tons better. My cat DC aka Derek Clark produced 8 of the joints on this record. I can't give them 5 stars but I will give them 4....Buy it!
