Absolutely Amazing

A Fan of This Band
This album should come with an advisory that no one should operate a motor vehicle while listening to it. You will unconciously drive faster, grip the wheel tighter and eventually be lost in the music and unable to pay attention to anything else. Backseat Betty acts as the perfect opener by wasting no time blasting the listener into a fast paced trip down the road filled with screaming guitar interludes, a barrage of drum fills and unparalelled vocals that if sung by anyone other than Nick Sponsel would seem like someone was just trying too hard to be metal. Bury The Hatchet introduces us to Justin Neals vocal style which is brought forth perfectly by his opening bass number. "Hatchet" gives the listener no choice but to sing along while pounding both fist and head. Broke Your Neck, though at a slower tempo than the other songs, is in many ways one of the hardest of Salvacions tracks. With a sound that forces you into an uncontrollable headbanging frenzy and lyrics that will remind everyone who listens about that one person that they would like to get the ultimate revenge on. Savage picks the tempo back up and tells a terrifying story of one man who takes a sick pleasure in his part of the destruction of an entire village of people before the breakdown that when played live will give half the audience severe whiplash. Cold Dead Hands begins with a soft and easy intro before exploding into calculated instrumental chaos leading up to a series of eardrum bursting guitars and a bass line that shakes your brain before ending abruptly and leaving the listener in an undeniable euphoric state. The title track Going To Hell reminds every guy who listens to it about the worst thing that ever happened to him and how at the time she was (and maybe still is) the one addiction he cant quit. Ma Deuce, my favorite track on the album is best described as the song that every soldier should listen to before going into battle. This song screams at you until you think you're invincible before cutting into the instrumental which is so fittingly accompanied by gunfire and explosions before bringing vocals back into the scene and a final shout "prepare to fight!" that sounds more like a battle cry commanding the listener to destroy the nearest breakable object. Finally, End Of Kings begins with a chant that all will join and chugging guitars that all feet will stomp to. The break introduces an eerie spanish style guitar picking that leads back into the chorus which pounds you into the ending instrumental and finds you at the end of the album and immediately starting the whole journey over again.
