They're back!
After some six years of recording, producing, Internet Show-ing, and grappling with media labels, Tally Hall is back with a totally new album! In the time since Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum, it's clear that the band has made some changes to their musical style. Whereas MMMM, with its eclectic, relatively unfocused musical styles, was relentlessly lighthearted (not in a bad way!), Good & Evil shows a more mature, focused, and introspective side of TH. Songs flow better, and are all of a generally more refined nature than those of their previous album. There is a relatively consistent set of themes, and each is explored with clarity and tact. It is apparent from this album that Tally Hall is coming into its own-- it is finding its voice and its drive as a band.
Blue, Red, Yellow, Green, and Gray-- you've done one heck of a job with this album. All I'd ask is that you don't lose the silliness. You can be a focused, mature, and successful band, and still write songs like Banana Man and--dare I say--Mucka Blucka :P

Wonderful.
Aside from the fact that these are the 5 most hilarious men on earth, they are 5 of the most talented. Just like Marvin's Marvelous Mechanical Museum, Good & Evil has it all. From catchy pop choruses to haunting, thought-provoking melodies. I highly recommend this album. Just buy it. NOW.
