It's Good For You...
The Brendan Hines' sound is perfectly encapsulated on his Myspace page (myspace.com/thebrendanhines): he sounds like "someone fell out of the good song tree and hit every branch on the way down." Sharply witty and intelligent lyrics, sing-along melodies and saloon-style arrangements make it impossible to not fall for The Brendan Hines' with one listen (if you like good music).
Utterly Addictive
Stumbled across the band's myspace page, and promptly purchased the album. Cannot stop listening. Favourites are "Miss New York" and "Guess What", but really have enjoyed each of the tracks. I've been listening at work, and co-workers keep asking me why I'm smiling. Quirky and clever lyrics, beautifully arranged music, and great performances. It may have been random good luck or fortunate synchronicity, but now The Brendan Hines have a new fan for life.
Great album
He's really got a knack for song writing. Super catchy. Be ready to have this album on repeat.
