Good Hearts
This EP is an excellent definition of what music is and should be. Seth Philpott is an extremely amazing artist whose level and quality of music exceed and excel above other artists in this day and age. His vocals will make one's heart melt and his words will draw one in to an understanding about life, love, and relationships. The words of his songs reach out with an empathy about heartbreak, the renewal of the heart and a sweet love. Seth Philpott is an incredible musician who is definitely ahead of his time.
Hooky Music
Each song on this EP is different from the rest, grabbing you in its own way. Thanks to Good Hearts, Seth Philpott has become a staple of every playlist I make.

Seth, this album is incredible, it's the epitome of you. It's driving down a country road with the windows down, it's sitting with a bunch of regulars at the local pub, an impromptu church service, a wild night at a carnival: it's everything good in this world, everything comfortable, everything simple. "I just wanna be here with you. It's all I wanna do, yeah, it's all I wanna do." What more could you need? The simplicity is overwhelmingly ironic, because no one these days breaks it down to the basic desires and pains that our hearts feel; we need to go back to the basics, we're missing out... this album is truly a welcome refresher.
The vocals are soul-filled, heart-warming, and natural. The tracks are mixed well, the balance is perfect, and the rhythms, drums, guitar, piano... everything adds just enough for the perfect finishing touch. There's something desired about Seth's earlier, solo/acoustic tracks, but the new mixes sound great and bring a tad more soul to the feel of the EP, a feel that defines what Seth is and makes him his own. Every track is different and worth listening to over and over again. BUY IT AND LISTEN TO IT. Again and again. Then you'll find yourselves, as I just did, telling a few others to do the same: the music is universal, it's infectious, and Seth has a way to find himself into everyone's hearts through the music he brings.
It's not pop, it's not country, it's not even soul... it's Seth, and that's what makes it perfect.
