He Excels
John Boutte has one of the purest voices in the blues genre. A wide rang of styles on this album. I own "Jambalay" as well and a couple of the selections are on both albums, thankfully they are a couple of my favorites. Sisters is a wonderful song with upbeat tempo and a silky beat that makes it hard to sit still while listening. Foot of Canal St. will bring chills and memories to anyoun who has ever been to N'Awlins. I missed him at JazzFest this year but am making up for it by constantly listening to his music.
John's Best Album!
Every song is wonderful.....listen to this album---I mean, really listen to it----and you'll come away wondering why it's not a huge hit.
