"Holding On To You" Kicks Off This Gem...

Paul uses his gifts to encourage the believer as well as the non-believer to pursue and deepen their faith. The remnants of Love Song (Phil Keaggy, Jay Truax and John Mehler) assist Paul here.

CLASSIC MUSIC, CLASSIC TIMES

Before Mercyme Before DC Talk Before Steve Curtis Chapman Before Carmen Before Amy Grant Before Contemporary Christian Music became an industry unto itself, there was Jesus Music. Christian music that dared to sound current and managed, for its time, to be revolutionary without being rebellious. This was music that was often self produced, rough around the edges and yet powerful in its message. In a time where the Message is often lost in petty politics and crass commercialism, Paul Clark's "Good To Be Home" album shows both how far we've come and how far we've gone. Definitely worthy of a listen.

All-time

Possibly my all-time favorite Christian album, up there with early Keaggy. You can hear the thoughtful focus on Jesus. No beating around the bush here, great instruments that enhance the message. Jay Truax on bass shines, as does Keaggy of course. Paul's songwriting is inspired!
