Album Review
David Kersh's debut album, Goodnight Sweetheart, is a pleasant set of contemporary country that emphasizes slick uptempo line-dancing country-rock and polished ballads. Kersh has a winning voice and personality, yet he lacks strong material. For every strong number, there's one that doesn't quite catch hold. Despite this, Goodnight Sweetheart is a promising debut, simply because it introduces a vocal talent as engaging as Kersh.

Good songs from the '90's
Everybody knows "Goodnight Sweetheart." David Kersh's debut album was one of my favorites for a long time, due, in part, to the fact that I had seen him live in concert the year that song came out. He was playing with Collin Raye and the show was excellent. Since he was a newcomer, David did a few George Strait songs-- better than George Strait, I thought! Good '90's sound here.
Goodnight Sweetheart
David Kersh was another artist to break through near the end of the neo-traditional era. Kersh’s debut album, Goodnight Sweetheart, produced three major hits including the title track and a Brad Paisley composition, “Another You”. Kersh brings strong energy to the edgy upbeat songs but also knows how to deliver a solid country ballad.

A marvelous blend of upbeat country toe tappers and sweet country ballads. Goodnight sweetheart, Louisiana Country Mile, Day In-Day Out, Things Your Daddy Wouldn't Want U, Another You... many great tunes on one album. Dont Miss this one.
