Gorgasmic...
Aborted manage to take the basic brutal death metal formula of heavy chugging riffs, pounding double bass, and demented growling vocals and add some killer songwriting in the mix to make a thoroughly enjoyable album. Check out Meticulous Invagination, whose stream of brutality is broken midway by a killer guitar solo, or Ornaments of Derision, which even features a repeated screamed section which might be considered a chorus. Altogether, an awesome slab of brutal death. The lyrics are sick too, and the audio samples in some of the tracks just add to the disgusting atmosphere. Check this one out. "...The doctor is in..."
Actually...
Actually, you both need to learn what your talking about. "Purity of Perversion" was Aborted's very first release, and is not on iTunes at this time. That being said, aborted is a badass band and this is a badass album. However, their later releases have much better sound quality. This is still a good album, as are all Aborted albums.
Pissed
This album is full of mindblowing brutality with a few melodic solos throughout. I love this album, possibly Aborted's best work. However, I'm quite angry at whoever decided it would be a good idea to take "Strychnine.213" off of the iTunes store. I was just about to buy my digital copy and then I logged on and it was gone. If any of the iTunes staff reads this, heed my words: put "Strychnine.213" back on the iTunes store. Thank you.
