Skip track two and the digital booklet.

"Got Nuffin" and "Stroke Their Brains" are both pretty quality Spoon tracks - both kind of suggest to me the next album might entail more rocking than the otherwise pretty great Ga Ga Ga Ga, but who knows. Basically if you like Spoon, grab these two songs right now. But "Tweakers"? Well, listen to the sample... You know how it sort of sounds like the clip they put up is just the intro to the rest of the song? It isn't. The whole thing is just that tinny drum loop and some ambient noises.

Still the Best!!!

Alright so I am a huge fan, I have everyone of Spoons albums and in my opinion they are the best band out their. Now This EP which was released for the fans to stop asking them to come out with an album and I know this because they said this. So for the 3 songs that will be the only songs out in 2009 they are good. I suggest buying all three songs and you should buy them individually so you save $1 since notice .99 X 3 = 2.97 and the album is 3.99 now for each song individually 1. Got Nuffin is a great song, and if I made the decision to only get 1 song that would be it. 2. Tweakers is a cool BEAT but that is all it is and their are no words, this is the first time they came out with an entire song without words and the beat hardly changed, this should be a Radiohead song not a spoon song, I suggest this would be the worst out of the 3, and 3. Stroke Their Brains is a nice closing and I recommend buying it.

Spoon is good

Four bucks seems like a lot for an EP with only three songs. It must be a pretty amazing digital booklet if they think I should pay an extra buck for it.

With their heady blend of precision punk and serpentine classic rock (the band has drawn comparisons to everyone from the Pixies and Sonic Youth to Elvis Costello and Tom Petty), enigmatic, Texas-based indie pop outfit Spoon went from underground press darlings to one of the genre’s premier commercially and critically acclaimed alternative rock acts. Formed in Austin by singer/guitarist Britt Daniel and drummer Jim Eno, Spoon released its debut EP, Nefarious, on the small Texas imprint Fluffer Records...
