Better to listen
Perkalaba's 2nd album “Govoryt Ivano-Frankivsk" combines lightness, humor, a nonchalance attitude and the band's signature sound. In this release there is the constant presence of mountains, clean air, and sunshine. And most importantly, no fakes. The main factors of life exist throughout the 17 tracks.
When listenting to these incredible songs it is hard to sit still. Ethno-Ska Punk - where melody given to the brass instruments, and lyrics full of irony and banter. Also interesting that “Govoryt Ivano-Frankivsk" includes not only their own songs, but the compositions of others in their own treatment. The album cover art is composed of photographs of various people from the Western part of Ukraine, among whom you can see a figure resembling Fellini.
In their music you can hear everything - folk tunes with reckless drive, anarchy and simplicity, unique lyrics and an unbelievable submission. But it is better to listen for yourself.
