Customer Reviews

Album for a road trip...

Love this album. The tracks shine more individually and don't flow together quite as well as the last album did, but that's because this album was written about the bands experiences over several months of touring Europe and Japan and each song pinpoints the different feelings they had as they spent time away from home while Waited Up 'Til It Was Light was all mostly about their hometown of Birmingham... anyways five stars because their overall ability to write catchy/noisy songs has definitely improved. Lots of hooks and etc. Favorite tracks: "Security to the Promenade" and "Custom Scenes and the Parties That Made Them"

Good follow up

Good all the way through. Not quite the 5 star album that Waited Up 'Til It Was Light was, but still a good solid album. Plus you get 19 songs for $10. Buy it.

The Best Indie Band Out There!

These guys are absolutely awesome. Their sound is unique and fresh. I love all the clever song titles and the lyrics are always great. Be careful, you may find yourself singing these songs day in and day out because they are simply that catchy! Favorite track: More Heart, Less Tongue. IF YOU ARE A FAN OF INDIE ROCK AT ALL THESE GUYS WILL BLOW YOU AWAY!

Biography

Formed: Birmingham, England

Genre: Alternative

Years Active: '00s

Johnny Foreigner hails from Birmingham, England, where the trio first honed its blend of noisy co-ed vocals and rambunctious, syncopated chord structures in 2005. The following year saw the release of the band's first single, "Sometimes, in the Bullring," which sold out in two months and received airplay from BBC Radio, London Live, and XFM. Johnny Foreigner had garnered enough attention by 2007 to ink a contract with Best Before Records, and bandmates Alexei, Junior, and Kelly retired to London...
