a rare talent
snatam kaur has one of the loveliest voices i've ever heard. ever. the cover's not for everyone...but the music is. i'd heard this album several times, found it compelling and beautiful. when I saw the cover I was super glad i'd heard the music first. this is an amazingly beautiful album to listen to or chant with. the cd contains a great booklet that explains what the mantras mean and show a sitting position for the powerful healing chant "ra ma da sa".
Grace by Snatam Kaur
when we heard "RA MA DA SA SA SAY SO HUNG" in the car and I look back to see the 5 & 6 year olds kind of relaxing into the meditation position, their feet folded in the carseats, with their hands very close to the correct position, I knew I had to have this song available at my disposal!!! One of the most hauntingly melodic songs I've heard in a long time. So nice to hear music that makes you think there is still hope out there for our human race and that small things can make a difference! Namaste!
powerfully beautiful
I found this album to be very powerful, transporting me to another place. I enjoy her spirit and that of the album. Recommended for those dedicated to peace and love. Long time sun and Thy Grace of some of the best I've heard. Ra Ma Da Sa is a meditative track that one can sink into.
