AMAZING

As a John Butler Trio fan from the first song I heard, I can say that his new album does anything but dissappoint. His ridiculously intense guitar play is as lively as ever, and the lyrics hit a spot in your heart every time you listen. With mainstream tracks like his first single "Better Than" mixed in with his more jam-session type songs like "Gov' Did Nothin' " and "Used to Get High", there is something for everyone on this album. My personal favorite, "Fire In the Sky", is the feel good song of the year. Bravo, John Butler, bravo.

JBT Does it Again

John Butler and his Trio do it again in this amazing album. They prove again why they are perhaps one of the best kept secrets in (American) rock, as they are yet to enjoy the popularity already achieved in Australia. Add great musicianship to meaningful lyrics and you get another 5-star production.

We need John Butler Trio

In a world where humanity and the spirit of nature is under constant attack, John Butler Trio is a breath of fresh air. At first listen, the guitars and drum beats grab you with their energy....The more you listen, the more powerful you realize the lyrics behind the music really are. I can't stop listening to "Fire in the Sky", or "Used to Get High". Another amazing track is "Devil Running". This album, along with all his others, kicks any mainstream rock musics A%@!!!!!
