The music of "Grandfather" is a splendid mix of folk and rock, with deep acoustic guitars, built from papyrus plants, highlighted with electric guitar, powered by the lightening bolts of Zeus, and accented with the beating goblin drums of Moria. With vocal melodies spelled out in Scrabble tiles, and harmonies sung by a choir of Mermaids, "Grandfather" is both intriguing and pleasing to the human and canine tympanic membranes. It has been recently discovered the the controversial Dead Sea Scrolls were written in praise of Tigers on Trains, and "Grandfather." The mining dwarves of Tigers on Trains have struck a precious metal more valuable than both gold and mithril with "Grandfather," and one would have to be either Confunded or under an Imperius Charm to pass up the opportunity to buy this golden ticket to sweet dreams. And at only 16 Sickles and 20 Knuts its a steal!

I am unable to stop listening to this album. From the moment "The Grammarian" fades in, Tigers on Trains grabs my ears and fills them with beautiful sounds for 35 minutes. By the time "A Year In the Garden Shed" gently lets go of my ears and dwindles into silence, I'm ready to start it all over again. The album only gets better as I keep listening, realizing how brilliant and unique the lyrics are. Have you ever heard a song about Reverend William Buckland or Alexander the Great (Painted Face)? I think not. Tigers on Trains has put together a masterpiece, and only a fool would not purchase this endless plate of nachos for your ears.
