Is it over yet....
If you are a new to Jazz music then this CD would be a safe bet. As for the seasoned listener then I would recommend not placing it on your "most have" list. It seem as if the group rushed to put a CD out. The music choice's are very boring and lack that sound that keep's your attention. As for the Patrice Rushen cover "Number one".... Urban Jazz Coalition has done a substandard remake.
Wanna hear the song at its awesome best buy the original. In my oppinion I think you'll agree it jam's. Sorry U.J.C. but your CD gets 1 out of 5 star's.
THIS CD IS FANTASTIC!
Don't know what CD previous reviewer was listening to. I herad that UJC was working on a new CD and could not wait to hear it. I really LOVE this CD. It is the best Urban Jazz Coalition has done to date. All the music is fresh. The grooves are downright fantastic. Favorite songs (hard to choose because they are all great) Gabriella's Smile, My 4Ever Love, Gravitate and Groove U.K. This CD is a must have! I have seen this group in concert. They are Great! This CD lives up to their reputation! Best Smooth Jazz group around in my opinion. This CD is HOT!

Like MrG1 said, I'm not sure what the previous reviewer was listening to, but it certainly wasn't "Gravitate." The music on this album is a terrific combination of funky grooves and smooth melodies. Definitely a must-have for any UJC fan!
