Album Review
Great Gonzos is a good cross-section of 14 of Jerry Jeff Walker's best-known songs, including "Mr. Bojangles," "Old Five and Dimers Like Me," "Desperados Waiting for the Train" and "Sangria Wine." It's not necessarily definitive — several of his actual charting hits did not make the collection, including "Jaded Lover," "It's A Good Night for Singing," and "Got Lucky Last Night" — but it cuts to the essence of Walker, making it an excellent introduction.

JJW at his best
If you hate Rascal Flatts like I do.....you can appreciate Jerry Jeff Walker.....a true, gritty singer/songwriter from (not originally) the Lone Star State. This is true American Music. Mary J. Blige and all that BS be damned!!!! This is music.
One of my Favorite Albums of All Time
JJW is just fantastic. This album makes me utterly nostalgic, in a good way.
