Speak to the Jewish song writer
It's an album about a jewish dude, marc bolan. it's from a label called Tzadik. Great Jewish Music is the category under which the label markets the albums which are markedly jewish. and Buckethead's last name is Goldstein. so there!
Avant-garde tribute
This is a neat collection of covers in which a diverse bunch of avant-garde musicians take a hammer to well-known Marc Bolan/T. Rex songs. As with all great covers, the artists take full, idiosyncratic ownership of the songs, some of which are only barely recognizable. Ten years on, I'm still enjoying this album.
Who are the Tantomas?
Yeah so track seven with Mike Patton should be Fantomas not Tantomas.
